Employee engagement was very high in this company for a while. Pay is competitive. Not exposed to sick patients every day as in retail pharmacy. Front Line Leaders go to bat for their employees as much as they are able to. (think red tape)
Minpunten
Professional judgement only allowed if it matches that of the higher ups. Lots of system issues which can lead to errors and pharmacists get charged with the errors instead of correcting the system. Customer service representatives aren't familiar with the laws and guidelines the pharmacists must follow so give out incorrect information frequently to patients and prescribers. Metrics-expected rates rise while the number of errors allowed in a given time period remains the same adversely affecting patient safety.
