Pluspunten

expensive vacations yearly, nice work space

Minpunten

They take pride in their high turnover rate. They do not invest in their new employees. They constantly change the comp plan so it's nearly impossible to make commission even when you're selling. The comp plan is impossible to understand. If you're a woman there prepare yourself for constant sexual harassment, regardless if it's a manager or not. This company is completely male dominant and the sexism is prominent. As a rep with prior experience, I have never been so micro managed in my life- they require you to start your OUTSIDE sales job in the office, and RETURN back to the office after a full day of cold calling. They count how many business cards you collect. They expect you to be in the office 7AM-7PM even though it's an 8-5 job, and they'll harass you if you leave even if you've accomplished a days worth of work . If you are a sales PROFESSIONAL do NOT consider a job here. They just want to churn and burn employees, and only tell you to focus on metrics- 500 phone calls a month 300 cold calls in person. There is no strategy to ANYTHING. Upper Management does not value their employees input or feedback and get offended if you have any concern at all. My manager was openly violent and would make uncomfortable racist remarks. In correspondence to a current employee, I watched my manager pick up the phone and slam it on his desk repeatedly until it broke. He once asked me to leave the room so he and the men could have a "boys talk". All I can say, is on your first day of training they say "look to your right and your left, that person probably won't be here in the next few months"... what kind of organization prides itself off unhappy employees?

Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to hear about your experience with Impact. When it comes to hiring and training, each employee starts off with a week-long, intensive Foundations training program designed to clearly define Impact's process and service offerings. From there, our employees are provided with continuous training and countless resources from Impact's learning and development team. Secondly, no salaried employees are required to work more than 40 hours per week, although many of our sales representatives put in extra time to ensure they are properly finding and nurturing leads. As with any other sales position, our sales reps can significantly increase their base pay through commission, which requires developing and maintaining business and client relationships. Our finance team, sales managers and VP of Sales (along with the whole organization) have an open door policy – so any uncertainty in regard to your compensation plan should be discussed with them to ensure your full understanding of how you will be paid out when sales occur. We do, at times, change our compensation plans at the beginning of a New Year after our finance team and Sales Executives do an extensive analysis of what is best for our reps. At the time a new compensation structure is rolled out – it is expected that our Sales Managers review these with our Account Managers to address any open questions. Our model for starting the day in the office and ending the day in the office is not for everyone – however it has proven success to our team and sales over the past 21 years. We are sorry to hear of your experience with a violent manager – to have this addressed; we would appreciate you contacting Human Resources to provide the name of that individual so this can be remedied as we do not condone racism or harassment in any form. Impact has invested in several diversity & inclusion initiatives during 2020 including partnering with Diversity Jobs and creating a diversity & inclusion board. We are devoted to diversity and inclusion and plan to continue these initiatives for many years to come. If you'd like to discuss any of these concerns directly, do not hesitate to reach out to Impact's HR team at ImpactHumanResources@impactnetworking.com. Thanks again for your feedback!

Pluspunten

Few environments offer the variety that Impact does. Team members work across managed services, AV, document management, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms simultaneously, making this an exceptional place to build a well-rounded career fast. We get to work with modern tools - those unfamilar in other organizations - enterprise-grade technology stacks is a real career differentiator. Senior leadership is approachable and engaged. Decisions don't disappear into a black hole — there's a culture of being responsive.

Minpunten

Impact's entrepreneurial energy is one of its greatest strengths, and that same energy means the company frequently pursues exciting new initiatives. For employees, this occasionally means context-switching across many priorities at once.

Thank you for the level of detail you’ve shared about your experience, particularly around the variety of work and exposure across different technologies. It’s encouraging to see how that breadth of experience and access to modern tools has supported your career development. We're also glad to see responsiveness reflected in your experience as building a culture where communication is timely and visible is important to how we operate. Your perspective on maintaining focus and refining where time and resources are spent is valuable as we continue to evaluate how teams operate and prioritize. Balancing new initiatives with focus and execution continues to be an area we actively evaluate as the organization grows and expands its capabilities. Impact Human Resources Team

Pluspunten

Lack of offices so WFH mostly

Minpunten

1. Benefits are terrible (expensive & mediocre) 2. Their pay is below market but will constantly breadcrumb employees by saying raises are coming. And quotas are unattainable and unrealistic. 3. Employees at the bottom are made to feel replaceable. If you bring up a concern, you will be belittled. 4. Executive level shows no professionalism 5. Impact is run by bros who peaked in college and they carry that mentality. 6. No raises or bonuses for regular Joe working nights and weekends but hiring C-suite level officers at 200k+ who just regurgitate TikTok lessons on sales 7. No safe place to discuss cons. Retaliation is big here. 8. All executives and Csuites gossip on team meetings all day about who they like or don’t like. I’ve personally heard them badmouth employees who have been here for years the same day they gave them an award. 9. HR was better under Mary. She was approachable. No one in leadership is approachable. No one.

Please know that we acknowledge the concerns you’ve raised and appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. We understand that benefits, compensation, workload, and performance expectations play a significant role in how employees experience their work, and we recognize the frustration that can arise when those areas feel misaligned. These topics are reviewed regularly, and during our recent All Company Meeting we shared upcoming initiatives related to compensation management. This includes a company wide process launching around June, where the Executive Leadership Team will evaluate overall business performance and allocate funds accordingly. Feedback around morale, communication, and employee experience is taken seriously. I continue to lead our HR team, and encourage you to reach out to me direct so I can hear more of your perspective and see if there’s anything we can do or clarify to make your experience better. These conversations matter, and they help inform where clarity, consistency, and support can be improved. We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback.
