I was able to use my time there to teach myself several new skills and learn ways to better help clients and I enjoyed my interactions with the clients immensely.
Minpunten
There was no training program whatsoever - strictly a few hours of OTJ training even for those who'd never worked in the field. Manager stated salaried employees were expected to work far more than 40 hours per week - most worked 60 or more. Though my job was dependent on using a computer daily, I was unable to use it at least part of most every day. The IT department was horrible and management couldn't have cared less that it added to employees time spent getting their work done. My supervisor was a very inexperienced manager with terrible people skills and non-existent managerial skills - would fly off the handle constantly and constantly denigrate others, and also gossip about employees she'd fired. Terrible turnover rate at every level. Pay was extremely non-competitive and so were the benefits.
