Mostly pertaining to North America GTM leadership. GTM leadership lacks sufficient experience, resulting in broken or nonexistent processes. There is no meaningful sales support or inbound engine, creating a sink-or-swim environment where effort does not reliably translate into outcomes. The culture incentivizes short-term, “shark tank” behavior rather than collaboration, and there is little role differentiation or defined sales funnel. Reps are expected to independently solve systemic issues, which disproportionately disadvantages those who haven’t had time to build pipeline in a results-now culture with minimal leadership introspection. Leaders lacked the operational experience and people-management foundation needed to lead effectively and often defaulted to a top-down, pressure-driven approach. Communication was often poor or nonexistent. Organizational changes, such as people being let go without any communication to the broader team created an unsettled environment. Over time, this contributed to poor team culture where opportunities and recognition sometimes appeared unevenly distributed, impacting morale and trust.
