Ink is uniquely positioned in the media sales space. If you work smart and are prepared to put in the effort you'll be very well rewarded. The magazines are top notch, but the environment isn't given the credit it deserves, so you need to be a tenacious, accomplished seller to thrive. Reading some of the comments on here are laughable, most likely from failed former employees that would rather blame the company, than look in the mirror and blame their own short comings. You are told very clearly in the interview process exactly what is expected. I've been with Ink 8 years and I walked in flat broke. Nothing was handed to me. I had to work hard, but the leadership team saw that and my career with Ink took off from there. On top of that, at least 50% of the employee that work in the same office as me have been there for years and are doing very well. I've seen many people come and go during this time and none of the decisions were questionable! They either weren't good enough or they decided that the job wasn't for them. This isn't a place for slackers - hard work earns respect, advancement and financial reward.
