      This job has no pros and was a waste of time.

      Minpunten

      Basically, unless you enjoy walking up to people and begging them to get their cabinets refaced in order to receive commission, this job is NOT for you. This company is trying to recruit people using job descriptions like Marketing Coordinator or Entry Level Management, but there is NO marketing and very little (1 hour a day) management training. The majority of your day will be spent sprinting at a home improvement store, going up to people and asking them a ton of questions. Then, if they actually need their cabinets refaced, you have to make a reservation AND they have to confirm their reservation before you can receive any commission. Other than commission, you WILL be making minimum wage.

      The ownership and manager were great to work for in that they encouraged the sharing of ideas.

      The location in Wexford, Pa was nice being outside of the city while still being close by. Employer/owner is great at coming up with ideas and products.

      Minpunten

      It seemed like a dream job at first because employer/owner was always very upbeat about your future with the company. Consistently empty promises of bonuses, raises, basic office supplies and office perks (couch, TV, etc). You will be over worked and be under values. Employer "pokes fun" at some employees (not myself) in sometimes degrading manner. Pays well below market value and you will have to fight, almost nag, for any raises or perks, *even* if it is written into your contract. Most projects are half done, then abandoned. Very few incoming clients, only a select few reoccurring clients. In the last year, 80% of the employees have quit. I believe that should speak for itself.
