Really impressed - I honestly can't believe they are a Series A because the passion and teamwork, on top of the thoughtful leadership moments has been really refreshing. As someone who has been in tech startups for a long time, I cannot say enough great things about how the leadership consistently talks about values, and then actually recognizes, rewards, and enforces it. On top of being just great people. I'm more use to spaces where smart people are awful with zero empathy, and I figure out how to work within cool tech companies despite leaderships bad behaviors. This place is so different - I joined because I loved their mission and now I'm realizing I've found a needle in a haystack. This team actually cares and they're driven. PLUS the tech they're building is really boundary pushing. We saw some of the frontier work the AI team is doing and it was incredible. Not to overstate this but - from leaders to ICs, this team is insanely nice - like accessible for meetups, slacks, random meet-and-greets. It's clear everyone is working hard and at capacity but they all still make time to help a newbie get onboard. This tech startup is going for really specific horizons to shake up an underserved industry and I think they're going to make it happen. Really ambitious folks. Great vibes.

I think people who are not startup-ready are NOT going to like this ride. I've seen some people churn who like the slow and steady; they definitely can't handle change and prefer the way things use to be (stagnant and comfortable)-- these are the people who should stay away. New leaders are pushing for velocity and that is exactly the rocketship I want to be in --- but I recognize that this isn't for everyone.
