In my nearly 30-year career in the IT industry, this is by far the most dysfunctional and toxic company I've had the displeasure to work for. Rather than actually fixing issues, the mandate from the CIO on down in the IT department is to manually falsify/manipulate production data "just to get it to work". Highly unethical approach, and anyone who tries to push back against this ideology is pushed into a corner and eventually leaves or is made to leave. I can only imagine what their customers would think if they knew to what extent this company manages data via manual manipulation and falsification. If they ever had an audit ran on their production data, they would be fined into oblivion.
