The benefits and pay are great, especially for the Idaho area. Managers and coworkers are nice, and the different resource groups (ERGs) are fun to participate in. Certain work processes function like a well-oiled machine. Depending on the department you're in and your projects, your work load can be manageable, and work life balance isn't too hard to achieve.
Minpunten
The company decided to "restructure" their entire workforce in the middle of the pandemic. CEO said they wouldn't do layoffs to "meet a certain business number" but then used the "restructuring" as a bit of loophole to lay off over 700 people. The biggest frustration wasn't the lie, but the empty words of nearly everyone in management and leadership positions. There's so much talk about how great of a company it is and how much they value their employees, but then absolutely no actions to back up those claims. If you don't mind working in the typical corporate environment, then Intuit is pretty great. But if you're interested in working for a company that cares about their people, Intuit isn't it. Their values are empty words, and they'll only disappoint you.
