They pay well. Benefits are amazing with on site perks like free coffee bar with baristas, on site gym. Most people are generally nice and mean well. The company level onboarding and learning resources are great.
Minpunten
I try to strive for a good work life balance but for how much is expected of me, I can't maintain a healthy balance. I'm not afraid of working hard but when you're a target for constant criticism that is based on many assumptions without a willingness to understand the whole situation, constant burnout happens. Lack of structure from the basics of file organization, to lack of easy access to business metrics and data, to planning methods constantly changing really doesn't set you up for success. For the size of the company, I'm baffled at how unorganized it is within working teams. The leaders that have been there a long time don't have a sense of just how bad it is and expect new employees to just know how Intuit is structured without any knowledge sharing within working teams. Training within team was basically a series of 1:1s with word vomits. Not suited for visual learners. People with lesser workloads are given support while others are overworked and made to feel their workload is realistically manageable with on going fly in work that's unaccounted for. For the culture they strive to have is really a good aspiration, but I've seen them promote a toxic leader who doesn't think twice before she speaks and is so crude to her team in how she speaks to them and how she speaks about others in group settings. She vocalizes her judgement from biased assumptions of others in front of them and other leaders. It's so demoralizing.
