Prior to the change in leadership, Jetty looked like it was headed in a good direction with signs of improvement in many areas. Instead, Jetty took the worst parts of a start-up and a large corporation and created a hot mess of unnecessary bureaucracy in a sub-100 employee company.

Long story short: One of the worst managed companies I and most of my colleagues have ever seen. Management doesn't care about you or your personal/career growth. They're only concerned with fulfilling useless, arbitrary metrics that do nothing to track the true performance of the company, as evidenced by them having to lay off almost half of their staff. Don't listen to the old reviews. A lot has happened since the beginning of 2019. Before 2020, there was no direction at Jetty at all, but at least there was autonomy and empathy from founders. Starting January 2020, I was treated absolutely terribly by brand new leadership that Jetty hired. I was forced, threatened, and even received sexist remarks by my new boss to take on a completely different set of responsibilities that would harm my career development and growth. This made me disposable at the company and essentially a secretary to my new boss. In the end, I was thrown out of the company with zero notice when they laid off half of the company during COVID19 pandemic (my boss didn't even have the decency to communicate with me during this, he even cancelled our 1:1 for the week prior to the layoffs) . I always worked my absolute hardest to make Jetty successful and to improve the culture, but always felt discriminated, undervalued, and disrespected working here. Working here ate at my self-worth, and gave me a lot of PTSD that I am trying to overcome.
