If you’re considering a role at Knack Systems, especially as a full-time contract employee, I strongly recommend you proceed with caution. Based on my colleague’s experience and feedback from others, the company suffers from serious planning and communication issues. Cons: • Lack of Projects: There are very few active, long-term projects. Many employees spend extended periods on the bench with no work and no visibility into upcoming assignments. • No Job Security: The company hires people without any strategic planning and then suddenly asks them to resign when they can’t place them on projects. This has happened to many employees recently. • No Training for Newcomers: There’s zero onboarding or training support. New hires are expected to figure things out on their own, regardless of their background or role. • Poor Appraisal and Review System: Performance evaluations are poorly managed, with little feedback or transparency. Raises and recognition are minimal to nonexistent. • Odd Working Hours: Most employees are expected to work from 3 PM to 11 PM IST, which disrupts work-life balance and isn’t suitable for everyone. • Lack of Transparency: Managers and employees are often left in the dark. There’s no clear communication from leadership, even when major changes (like forced resignations) happen. In short, Knack Systems lacks proper planning, employee support, and professional ethics. If you’re looking for career stability, transparent leadership, and a healthy work environment, you should consider other opportunities.

Pluspunten

Company invests heavily in R&D and training to stay ahead of the technology curve and to provide valuable solution to its customers. Because of these investments and early moves in the cloud space it has become a very strong brand and is very well regarded in the SAP Cloud for Customer, Hybris and SAP ERP space and a large number of successful reference-able customers. Most of the employees are cross trained in new technologies like SAP Cloud for Customer and Hybris commerce solution and work on these market leading solutions. Being a mid size company it provides a great opportunity for an employee to take on new challenges, work closely with customers and sales team and achieve tremendous growth while also providing options for work life balance through some work from home options.

Minpunten

This is not a typical Application support service company with a 8 AM -5 PM schedule. The employees are constantly challenged and expected to keep abreast of technology and application innovations and deliver projects to highest level of customer satisfaction. In addition the senior employees are expected to lead in various ways eg mentorship, supporting the community via blogs, white papers and supporting in pre-sales effort.
