-Benefits are very flexible and have a lot of options. I actually use my health insurance so I looked very closely at the benefit packages before choosing to join Labcorp. -Company tries hard to promote a good culture. Lots of inclusivity messaging, support networks to join and people are generally happy to help out. Senior leadership is typically fairly involved in promoting positive work culture (even if there is still office politics/ work drama-- you can't completely avoid it) -See lots of areas for employees to give feedback and be heard. -Lots of learning resources, it feels very much like you're in control of how much you want to put into this job and how much you'll get out of it. -Work/life balance has been fairly easy to maintain, but I think this is probably relative to you. It's highly discouraged to schedule meetings on Fridays and as long as you schedule time off ahead of time people do their best to respect it and not need you unless it's an absolute emergency. -I really enjoy that there are 'fun' and skill based workshops you can join and sit in on. There are sessions on how to use excel, how to be a super user of certain systems we use. There are also office hours that you can go to to ask questions if you need help. -In general, I would say that the work environment (within Project Management of Clin Reasearch at Labcorp) is very collaborative.
Minpunten
-Onboarding is long, lots of reading and not necessarily applicable to your actual job. There is even MORE training after being onboarded that's not always helpful. -You are as supported as you choose to be. I'm in a WFH position so it's up to me to introduce myself to others and create a network. For me, this hasn't been an issue as I tend to be more outgoing but I can imagine this doesn't work for everyone and it can be daunting just messaging strangers out of the blue asking for help.
