1. They pay well below average for Senior talent 2. Management and Executive team is all very green. Every person at the Dev-Manager level and up to the CTO himself have ever seen success or how to get there. 3. Blind leading the blind. 4. CEO is absent and we never hear from him or see him and he never addresses the company and when he does he just tells us lies and makes excuses for why revenue is down. 5. Company is failing, none of the revenue goals were met for 2022. 6. They hired 50 contractors and then fired them after only about 6 months and now there is piles upon piles of tech-debt laying around that nobody wants to clean up. 7. The CTO plays the blame game and doesn’t take accountability for his own poor planning and his lack of experience. 8. Dev Managers are all frauds and have never led a team in the past and it’s totally obvious. 9. Company says they’re Agile but really they’re just chickens running around with heads cut off and direction changes on a dime. 10. There is an absurd amount of pressure put on the devs to meet unrealistic deadlines. Working at Lessen was like working in a pressure cooker that you could never get out of. For one and half years it was just unbeatable deadline after deadline. Enough was enough and I left.
