There are genuinely good people and hard workers that care about products and patients.

Minpunten

There are managers/directors at the company that actively contribute to a toxic work environment. One of these individuals have had multiple HR complaints, due to abusive language in both private and public settings. This individual displays poor attitude towards subordinates, quick to anger, obvious favoritism and is a bully. As a result, that individual's department has a high level of turn over, some not even lasting a full year. Morale is extremely low.

Rampant Nepotism & Unprofessionalism: The "family-owned" vibe is really just a cover for extreme nepotism. Decisions aren't made based on merit, and the lack of professionalism at the management level is staggering. The "Lobby Scraps" Benefit Plan: Don't expect any actual employee appreciation. There are no company lunches or social events for the staff unless a client or company rep visits. Once they’re done, the "benefits" consist of the employees being allowed to scavenge the leftovers. Pay for Your Own Coffee while Directors get Cars: It’s a joke. They’ll make you pay for your own coffee in the breakroom, yet you’ll see Directors driving around in company-funded cars. The wealth gap and lack of basic perks for the people actually doing the work is insulting. Stagnant Productivity: Trying to finish a project is a nightmare. It requires reaching out to other departments, which takes forever because the culture is built on doing the absolute bare minimum. No one will ever "do extra work" to help a colleague out.
