At MSCI we pride ourselves with demonstrating flexibility in the way our teams operate – we believe engaged teams are more productive and flexibility is a key driver of engagement. Naturally we are disappointed to read that you believe those who suggest changes are restructured – we are always looking to develop and as you know, innovation which leads to change is a core part of our DNA. It is true, however, that we have a performance culture – as do many other organisations – and as such, from time time, we restructure and employees leave us. These decisions are not taken lightly but are not unique to MSCI. However, we hope that our desire to care about our employees and former employees resonates and that our Alumni, with time, understand the decisions that are made. Our Alumni community is also important to us and we welcome feedback from them.
