Pluspunten
I joined Mastech as a Recruiter and worked with them for a few years. It is a great place to learn about US Staffing, Immigration, Recruitment and Sourcing. - You'll get into a good team if you're lucky. - You'll get a good manager, if there is one left. The top management is doing great work, in terms of the strategy and direction where the company is headed both in US and in India. Especially after Kevin H took over. However their efforts are *greatly* spoilt by the first-level supervisors and immediate managers. Mastech is very transparent and has top notch Resource Managers. I've worked with a couple of them directly and learnt most of what I know from them. Work very closely with the Resource Management and Sales team. That's where the business happens. The directors will tell you not to (they're insecure that way), but do it anyway. Trust me, its worth it! Mastech is multi-cultural and most teams are above cultural differences. And yes, good money in incentives.
Minpunten
Most current managers & directors are two-faced, deceptive and arrogant, not to mention poisonously ambitious. I know these are powerful words, but I still choose to use them. I had a great stint there overall, but I also had a couple of bad situations, and my manager was quick to put the blame on me and twist the whole story. If in doubt while working there, don't believe your Manager or Director. Head to the management team (the VPs not the current Directors) in US or India, they can usually sort things out. Mastech is very transparent that way and they should be considering the people they choose to lead their teams - yuck!
