Micromanagement limits autonomy and slows productivity. Store leadership frequently provides conflicting direction, creating confusion and inconsistency. Policies, procedures, and expectations change regularly depending on who is giving instructions. Assistant Manager is not empowered to lead or make decisions despite being held accountable for results. Sales performance and customer service are not always prioritized appropriately, with employees sometimes reprimanded for operational tasks while actively driving significant sales.
