Extremely underrated salaries. The salaries are not even compatible with the cost of living before COVID-19. They claim "We are not in the Silicon Valley so we pay less" while Livermore(the HQ) is just 15 min from Silicon Valley and everyone lives in that expensive area(Pleasanton, Livermore, San Jose, Fremont, etc.). The other annoying thing is you can find the majority of people working there for over 15-20 years which is very rare in the Bay Area but it comes with a huge disadvantage. While those people(mostly engineering) have already built their empires, they don't see a need to upgrade themselves or the technology they use. As a result of that, there is no space for growth after the 2nd year. Something else that was really obvious and annoying was that their Application team only hires from a certain ethnicity. During my more than 2 years of work, I never saw diversity in the hiring for that specific team.
