Nepotism. Favoritism. Instead of hiring more people, employees are expected to do the job of multiple people and they are not compensated for the extra work. They keep downsizing and expect current employees to pick up the slack even when they are already overwhelmed. Many go above and beyond everything day and appreciation is not shown by management.
