Complete open door policy from the top down, great to be able to walk up to the CEO or the Co-Founder with any kind of idea or just to have a chat. Although we have been slightly confused about company direction over the past year or so, we have a solid handle now on what we need to achieve and who is accountable for delivering on it. There is a high level of transparency across the business, and good opportunity to progress your career for people whom are eager to go above and beyond. I love the fact that no idea is a bad idea, and MessageMedia are always willing to at least hear an idea out and possibly implement it. Great culture and amazing people make MessageMedia a great place to work.

Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew and be a little too audacious in our goals which result in under-delivery in areas. MessageMedia has become better at trying to build out more realistic timelines of delivery for certain projects and better tracking around both individual OKRs and organisation wide OKRs have helped this and I can see it improving over time. There are times where things that should be simple however, can take time, and in some instances over-approval is needed, when other things that are seemingly less urgent or impactful to the business fly under the radar and are able to pass by the "red tape". Although it may seem contrary to the comment above around no idea being a bad idea, there are times where we just need to do certain things for the sake of continuing to be a market leader, even though a complex return on investment hasn't been undertaken.
