Pluspunten
I spent somewhere shy of a decade at MEI and had a great experience there. The company puts a huge premium on culture and the happiness of their employees. They are big on personal development and continuing education. Also, due to the nature of their business, there are lots of fun technical problems to solve and projects to work on. The kind of work that keeps technical people engaged and happy.
Minpunten
Because of MEI's unique ownership situation with a larger Japanese company, there is somewhat limited freedom when it comes to moving around in the company. It's probably not the best place for people who are simply looking to climb the ladder. Also, their location is rough if you live south of the 520 or west of 405. The traffic in and out of Juanita can be a killer. Good company for bike commuters. Lots of bicycle fans in the ranks.
