The leadership exit strategy is to make cash on stock and mergers, then leave and let the next in line try too. Stock growth is a mirage, as the continuous purchase of companies looks like growth. Communication is fake and buzzwords with no meat. They do the minimum to make it look like you are running a company, but really are just waiting for the next payoff. This is phase 2. Phase 1 was the VC purchase, but they already stripped the companies of cash and anything of value that they could plunder and sell. They then sold the company for the start of phase 2, instead of killing the company like they might have done in the past. It’s all a big game.
