The non-competitive pay in CAD/PDK would be acceptable except HR does nothing about a insecure, blue haired bully manager despite knowing the behavior. Put aside the control freak who isn't even an engineer trying to understand things way beyond their comprehension. A sign they don't know how to be a good manager, forcing endless meetings and wasting time. Forcing an subordinate to be friends, try to make them go to lunch and sharing cringe worthy personal details then demanding obedience and loyalty wasn't enough to get this person some mental help at a minimum. Instead they covered up the bullying ways which are too many to list. They tend to keep horrible managers with no vision.
