      Pluspunten

      It was an easy job where you had to shelve books and maintain the collection. The reason for leaving was relocation. They provide good benefits as well. This is a terrific job for high schoolers and those just out of college.

      Minpunten

      There really are not any downsides. The library is in a great area. The people are civil and helpful. The job does not require a great deal, so there really is no downside.

      -Overall community support for the library -Like most workplaces, many of the people that worked there were great

      Minpunten

      -Management ignored things like staff using organizational resources for personal use; there was a pattern of ignoring problems brought up by staff -Administration did non-inclusive things like repeatedly misstating the name of an employee of color even after being told the correct pronunciation -Employees of color and LGBTQ employees often left after a short duration -When questioned about salary discrepancies backed up by data and wanting to know what was going to be done about wage compression, administration response to employees was "Don't go there." -Departments couldn't effectively collaborate and treated each other like competition instead of working together to serve the same community
