Lack of management -- The company has been run by a board member for a number of years and there's no one 'driving' the company who has experience in software or technology companies. Lack of support - So many employees have left the company that there is no support for you or your customers. There aren't enough developers to resolve issues, there aren't enough service or support staff to support the customers. As an employee, you'll end up working 4-6 different jobs simultaneously, many that you're not qualified for (you're a help desk analyst, a project manager, salesman, a member of QA...). Aside from a developer position, management doesn't believe that roles don't require a specific skillet and that everyone is interchangeable (which is insulting to anyone not in an entry-level position). Lack of customers -- Customers are leaving at an alarming rate (as quickly as employees) which makes the future feel really uncertain.
