This is the first company I have been in, where employees bags are checked when they leave the corporate building. That shows how much trust Neiman Marcus has on its employees. In fact that pretty much sums it all when it comes to management. There is a huge discrimination between employees and contractors, even when celebrating success. IT Leaders only micromanage people on time - like time they came into work, time they spent drinking coffee etc.

* If you have an amazing team and management the day goes by fast. * Commission. * Easy to rely on foot traffic to meet goals. * If you ask for growth, they set thing ups that align with what you want, you just need to ask.

Minpunten

* If its slow, its SLOW. * There can be drama, it just depends on the department you're in.

A toxic environment where sales are almost zero because vendors are pulling their product off the shelf because their bills aren’t getting paid. They’re in the middle of coming out of a bankruptcy , if a client does come in, we usually don’t have the product to sell them ,only lines who are partially thriving is fragrance ! The hours are terrible. You get off work at nine and you’re expected to be back at 9:30 AM.
