      Some of the people in the company were great to work with. The training provided some solid financial analysis skills.

      Minpunten

      I found it a bait-and-switch situation. There were great promises of deep analytics skill development and advanced responsibility. After a six months, the reality became apparent: the bulk of people were there like sweat-shop workers. The owner is under the delusion that he has a corner on the market of truth and accuracy. Overall environment was pretty toxic.

      - Best finance/economics crash course available in your first year (MBA level content) - Terrific work life balance - Great culture supported by social events (happy hours, sounds games, etc) that are sponsored by the company - As a small company, you will wear many hats which gives you work experience in all areas of the business

      - Priorities can change quickly as new business opportunities arise, creating short term chaos (likely will improve over time as they establish new revenue streams)

      I interviewed for the associate analyst position in November 2022 and was supposed to start in June 2023. However, a month before I was supposed to start, they told me that they no longer had the capability to hire me. It felt horrible to go through this after so much hard work to get here.
