Minpunten
There's a few: Management are incredibly unprofessional and incompetent and are surrounded by a set of individuals who evangelise every word they say. If you join as an engineer you won't learn anything that will be transferrable to a new career. Toxic work culture that caused a mass exodus of employees shortly after I joined. You're managed by people who don't have any real engineering experience elsewhere and have only worked there their entire careers. A lot of them are too scared to admit that the only reason they still work there is because they can't get jobs anywhere else. There is no promotion based on merit but instead things are incredibly cliquey and you have to play corporate politics on hard mode as everyone is also apparently a therapist. Things are left extremely broken, and there is a poor culture of maintenance. I didn't see any tests written for the entire time I was there. You have to test things manually and just hope that they don't break. You're told that you have "prove" yourself by working on outdated tech-stacks before you can be "trusted" to work with "new tech" like React. You're mandated to submit a mandatory "On My Mind" which is a gross invasion of privacy, where under the guise of "personal development" completely unqualified individuals, who don't know you, will prod at your mental state and give you unsolicited advice that you have to take.
