It should be a huge red flag when a company that has "won 10 straight workplace excellence awards" suffers from awful employee turnover. If workplace conditions are so excellent, why are so many people leaving/being fired? The answer is that 1) compensation is insufficient, 2) senior management (and mid-managers) do a poor job of motivating employees and have unrealistic expectations, and 3) the products and services the company offers are mediocre at best, making it difficult to keep clients/prospects happy. If you work at Optimal Networks, expect to hear that the company is "just going through growing pains" despite having been the exact same size for years.
