Minpunten
-Unreliable Leadership and Broken Promises: When I first joined the company I was given a career progression path along with a rough timeline. Whenever I would ask about the timeline I would be reassured that the org is growing as expected and confirmed. Promised career progression paths were not honored, leading to stunted career growth. Management reneged on initial promises and pressured employees to remain in their current roles. -Encouraged by leadership practices, there is a lack of communication between teams, leaving employees uninformed about the broader state of the product. -Inconsistent and Gaslighting Management: Managers provided unclear and often contradictory instructions, leading to confusion and a lack of accountability. Expectations were frequently changed without notice, creating an unstable work environment. This was a common occurrence throughout the org. -Subjective Employee Evaluations: Performance reviews are based on vague criteria instead of actual contributions to the product. When projects don't go a as planned, ICs will be thrown under the bus. -Shift to Offshore Contracting: During my time with the org, a significant number of FTE were replaced with offshore contractors. It's pretty obvious that management sees US based employees as high-cost liabilities.
