I would say communication wasn't the best. The contract offered is self-employed but with a monthly fixed salary with no benefits at all. The salary is low and it's forbidden by contract to share it with your coworkers, which from my point of view makes it difficult for you to know what salary range you can aspire as well as a shady way to hide injustice and inequality among the team. I was never offered a salary raise and always had to ask for one.
