Upper management helps you develop the skills you need to communicate effectively in the business world. Yes, they are tough on you but that is because they want you to be better than you are. Good team atmosphere. Most of the people on the sales team are recent college grads which makes it a fun place to work. They push you out of your comfort zone and force you to grow as an individual. Good opportunity to start your career in business. They give you the skill set needed to succeed. They have fun competitions to get you excited about work. Everyone is really personable and want you to be good at your job. They don't give up on you and help you through every step of the way.

Minpunten

Stressful. You have to hit numbers. They don't sugar coat anything, they will let you know what sales goals you need to hit. Tough work environment. The strong survive and the weak fall off. You need to be willing to take on the challenge, bring a competitive spirit and never give up.

If you come with the right attitude you will reap the benefits. There is room for advancement and constant support and training. Everyone here (coworkers and management) really cares about your personal and professional success. Management will push you to be the best you can be. They constantly are bringing on new clients and you will be exposed to sales in many different industries. If you're ready to work hard and want to be successful this is the place for you. Also a lot of fun! We usually have a group outing a few Friday's in the year and the team spends time together outside of work.

Minpunten

Getting in early or staying late after work allows you to get ahead. You only get 5 days of PTO in your first year.

ProspeX is a young thriving organization with lots of opportunity for advancement. The majority of the organization is in their 20s, fresh out of college. It's a very fun culture with a work hard play hard mentality. ProspeX is a great company to work for straight out of college because they teach you how to be successful in the business world and have a vested interest in your personal growth. ProspeX provides us with the opportunity to attend valuable Dale Carnegie Courses, and the management regularly conducts formal and informal training to fine tune our skills. Training is far beyond the first week on the job. It is continuous. Everyone's opinions are valued, and we are encouraged to come to the table with new ideas. Senior management is always looking for new ways to innovate. It doesn't matter how long or short you've been here, your voice is heard if you speak up. Perks include contests with prizes that vary from Visa Gift Cards, Trips, TVs, and iPads. The management team is always doing something new to drive competition. The CEO is heavily involved in Pro-Sports training so free tickets are often available upon request. All in all, ProspeX is a great place to develop the fundamental business skills required for a successful career.

Sales isn't for everyone, but if you are a competitive person with a "get it done" mindset you will get the most out of working here.
