Minpunten
My experience here has been full of empty promises. Our values “openness, optimism, and ownership” are followed LEAST by management and in turn we’ve experienced disorganization, frustration, overpromising, and under delivering. The new departments have also caused a stir in the business because we clearly have bit off more than we can chew. Everything is disorganized with everyone pointing fingers at each other while trying to find solutions to situations; which makes things take longer and become more complicated than necessary. Leadership has completely changed in the last 9 months with C suite jumping ship and external hires now running things with little knowledge and experience. Everyone has seemed so negative for most of this year, with coworkers complaining about more stress, poor pay structures, lack of resources, and the list goes on. I tried not to see our CEO stepping down as a red flag but now it is impossible not to notice everything spiraling. I’m not sure why we continue to acquire and partner with other companies because we can’t even figure out our own business. Also, I noticed many people are overworked and don’t even use our “unlimited PTO” benefit, thus causing noticeable burnout. Taking time off for any personal reason now feels like a chore because you have to validate why you want/need to step away from your laptop for a bit. In general, this has been a very disappointing experience and I hope Procore is able to return to its position of being a strong, well-liked company instead of a dumpster fire with people leaving left and right.
