Pluspunten

ProdPerfect is solving a widespread challenge in QA in a totally unique fashion. Never before have I seen prospects and customers so consistently taken aback by how awesome the concept of ProdPerfect is, and then completely mindblown when they realize it actually works as advertised. Culture. I've worked at other companies who tout high-minded claims about how awesome their culture is, only for it to be completely toxic in reality. ProdPerfect is hyper-focused on maintaining our culture of Humility, Enthusiasm, and Impact as the company scales. Everyone here is super smart, extremely friendly, and quirky in his/her own way. Compensation is at-or-above market, and the benefits are stellar. Remote-first environment, but also here in Boston we do have an office space in a co-working building.

Minpunten

Typical early-stage startup challenges, but that's part of the fun for the most part. You have to expect things to change often, and be self-reliant when it comes to solving some challenges. Own the problem, own the solution.

Great people, great culture, have people who are passionate about what they do and want you and the company to grow.

Minpunten

Job is fully remote so you don't see people as often. People are also in different time zones so your work hours are not always your typical 9-5.

- "Preventing Burnout" is a motivating mission. - PTO is unlimited, and management actively encourages you to take it. - Fully remote *before* the pandemic: from the beginning, ProdPerfect believed in sourcing talent from anywhere, and letting them work on their own terms. - Dynamic: departments don't limit where you can contribute. - I've seen requests from employees at all levels translate to thoughtful action with demonstrable results. For example, recent conversations about how we justify salaries led to an industry benchmarking exercise, with individuals' salary and equity compensation increased when appropriate (no one adjusted down).

Minpunten

- Growth has come in fits and starts. We have had a couple rounds of layoffs, partly because of the pandemic, but partly because we hired too aggressively in periods of growth. Could have been avoided. - Day-to-day operations can feel chaotic. Lots of systems are built out of quick fixes on top of patches on top of hacks. It's par for the course in startups, but it would be nice to have a bit more operational discipline, a bit less frenetic decision-making.
