Pluspunten

some people are highly overpaid

Minpunten

- Pay inequality is visibly apparent and the differences between levels are the most bias and subjective metrics ever witnessed in any other company. This keeps skilled employees from being recognized, especially if you know more than those above you, - Managers mine talent from their under staff members and put their name on other peoples work to make themselves look more valued. - High employee turnover in departments where managers show little respect for those that do the work. - Lack of diversity shows by who is promoted and who is not. Only certain popular people get to move up. - Lack of accountability for favored managers. - Upper management doesn’t care about who they step on to get to the top. They show a negative and threatening side to their staff they don't favor and a glowing side to those they need to impress. - Project management certificates is what they sell, not what they practice. Ironically, very few project managers at PMI are certified. Think about that. -This is not a non-profit organization. It is worse than any for-profit company, constantly scrambling to meet their quarterly quotas and having the “little workers” work overtime to make the managers look good. - Managers love to spend their yearly budgets on parties where they fly in everyone across the world for a week of parties and endless spending. “Remember we are a non-profit, so we have so spend everything we make….on us!” - Upper management is missing the boat when it comes to “Company Cultural” issues. They say they want open and honest conversations but require that your manager be in the same “room” to listen to your grievances. It’s all about being told what to say on the cultural surveys. Very few authentic people participate in the cultural surveys. - Women managers don’t hide that they are bias towards men. In a company wide “culture and values” meeting a prominent woman manger said "I am so glad the men in the company decided not to join this meeting because we don’t need them anyway". - There are two distinctive and separate groups of employees. Those that are protected and those that are blamed. If you are in the protected group, the sky is the limit, you get whatever ever job you want and you will be fast tracked for manager level promotions. If you are the group that is not protected, no amount of skill, integrity or years of experience will help you get promoted. This place defines a toxic work environment. - Don't sell your soul to this non-profit

Pluspunten

Remote work, but that is really it.

Minpunten

Compensation used to be competitive, but workload, expectations and initiatives have increased, Everyone is being asked to do more, and work harder with the same resources with no consideration for fair pay. Senior leaders are well aware of how they are perceived, but choose to do nothing, or simply say they are working on fixing things, with no tangible efforts seen. Our CEO is running the reputation, culture, and company into the ground for the sake of revenue. Him and his executive team are known bullies, and even though this has been complained about by so many of us, even to HR, nothing is ever done about it. We NEED board intervention. Just take a look at PMI's ratings. Even with the reviews obviously crafted and directed by internal leaders to try and suppress negative reviews. I will also add that career growth is non-existent, and the determined best fix for these concerns was training telling employees its their problem to figure out. Really makes us feel valued.
