Pluspunten

-Strong Life Insurance and Annuity products, maybe the best in the industry -Great training program -Unlimited PTO and freedom to set own time -Bonus structure is very generous when starting out -Able to be comprehensive with clients (take that with a grain of salt however) -Good for starting a Financial Services career if you get the right local management.

Minpunten

-COMAND Investment platform is better off not existing -Weak wealth management programs; fees are not competitive with the industry (meaning they are too high) and trading capabilities are minimal -Senior Home Office Management is terrible (high turnover, and make huge lateral business model shifts every 6 months) -Salaried Home Office employees are lazy and unhelpful -Unnecessarily heavy administration on transactions can often delay you getting paid for them -Direct reports to many superiors despite them saying it’s your own business -Very behind on technology -Marketing support is non-existent (though this could depend on local management)

Pluspunten

They take you to lunch on your first day. Hybrid 2 days in the office, but I'm sure that will increase. The benefits & pay.

Minpunten

No training at all. You learn by failed case work and what other coworkers tell you. They expect you to do case work you have never processed before. If you fail too many cases, they put it against you and say your quality is bad. Train normally and the quality wouldn't be bad. If you continue to do "bad", they will just put you on phone calls every day to help rude and mean old people. Upwards of 40+ calls daily. They also don't put everyone on phones even though they say being on phones is an essential part of the job. They pick and choose their favorites to do casework and put everyone else on phones daily. Managers are useless and just sit in meetings all day and don't offer help, training, or guidance. Managers also provide snobby remarks when asking for clarification or help and answer back as if you are the dumbest person in the room and act as if you should already know the answer.
