'Pru' the regional brand is great. Comes across as a relatively transparent organisation, focused on business growth and market acquisition in Asia. There seems to be a willingness to identify good individuals for succession planning.
Minpunten
Local management is not living up to the same brand promise. There's lots of politics in the hiring particularly at senior levels and incompetent people are promoted. As a result, you are discouraged from asking the hard/difficult questions and encouraged to play the role of a cheerleader. Retention in recent times has become a problem. 'Talents' - despite being identified in the system - generally leave after 1-2 years and are allowed to go without any attempts to keep them.
