Pluspunten
Many of the people are great to work with, very conscientious, and want to do a good job. It's a global company, so if you're interested in working with people from different countries, that part is very interesting. This applies to both internal QAD employees who are located around the globe, and the customer base. I really liked that part of it. You're expected to be proactive and a self-starter. This was a big pro for me. Also, most roles are telecommute, so you often just create your own schedule. There is definitely autonomy, so if you're a person who needs his/her hand held, this probably isn't the place for you.
Minpunten
Executive/senior management seemed to do a very poor job in selecting senior managers. My manager was seriously lacking any semblance of management skills. I can't believe the person had ever managed a team before. Very disappointing. One of the cons of being a global company is that there will be times, depending on your role, where you will have off hours meetings. This could be internal or customer-facing. So, based on your role, be prepared to be available at different hours that may be inconvenient at times. There were some people in roles that made the same mistakes over and over and even after this was brought up the chain of command, no changes in process or personnel were made. Also, very disappointing.
