It's exciting to work on latest and greatest technologies. QCT is all about executing and there are many hardworking folks who take pride in commercializing many of today's mobile technologies. The insurance benefits are great. Nice 401k match as well. I am glad they recently diced stock options in favor of RSU for most employees.

QCT continues to bring in most of the revenue and profits and QCT engineers end up spending 12+ hours a day working in the labs and responding to round the clock emails from San Diego, Boulder, Raleigh and India offices. Other divisions don't work as hard and the company does not recognize QCT engineer premium in salaries and bonuses. It's hard to justify to my family why I work in QCT v/s transfer to another department with same salary, benefits and in the same company.
