Choose your own hours; company seems to distribute a lot of info from the top; gifts at Christmas; good in-house continuing education.

Minpunten

Constantly switching between accounts; quality and responsiveness of account leads varies a lot, and that can make it hard to keep on top of changes in agency specifics; quotas are king with no accounting for the fact that some agencies have huge lists of ever-changing requirements, while others are a cakewalk.

Flexible hours, pay for recertifications and provide coding manuals.

High quotas, some managers can be quite rude. Was told once in a group phone call that ICD-10 coders were "a dime a dozen". Laid off via phone recording without notice. We were salaried employees. We were told we would receive pay for the last week of the month and that was to be considered severance pay.
