Everything. The very standards, mindsets, approaches, and leadership (or lack thereof) that the company is built on. This here is a review from a former employee who is successful, motivated, uplifting to others, and is not angry with the company - only concerned about the workers, and sad that it can be this way. 1) The area. Crackheads and needles everywhere outside (not the companies fault, just for you to know) 2) if you like joy, you are allotted 5 minutes of joy per day! Because some of the employees started up an afternoon walk. Once you arrive back to the building, and walk underneath the dark depressing cloud that hovers over, the joy is sucked away, and silence returns. 3) Just get used to doing things the wrong way and the cheap way. It'll be far easier to get by if you manage to not dream or have any light bulb ideas, or simply be passionate about fixing what's broken. It's best to fall in line, shove that stuff in a box and save if for your next company, one that probably thrives a little bit... 4) if you're a fan of modern day slavery, you'll want to apply for a warehouse position. It's really sad looking in there. They are considered the poor people. Working for pennies with a camera stuck in their face to make sure they don't steal a bolt or a screw or something. Cameras everywhere. It was actually said from a leader who shall remain nameless that cameras should be in the bathroom to make sure no one uses their phone in the bathroom on company time, that it would be the case if it were legal. 5) the CEO. He's an entrepreneur which is cool. But he is weird as hell, it's no secret. I could never even begin to explain. And I don't want to, the point here isn't to personally attack someone, just to give you a hint as to the type of environment you will find yourself in here so that you don't accept an offer and be forced to a) quit after your first week/month/trimester like every other somewhat brilliant employee has, or b) cover your brilliance with mud and just accept the low quality work life 6) if you are looking at sales or marketing jobs, don't be fooled by the word "salary". All "salary" means is that you have to work a mandatory 8.5 hours per day and get paid for 8. Trust and believe, if you take a day off, come in late, or leave early, the word "salary" is thrown out of the window, and you are docked pay as an hourly employee.
