Hire & fire; save your backside and put failures on employees. The CEO in order to show he is doing to improve profitability decided to find employees to fire (in the process stopped all the programs initiated to make the organisation move forward). This led to people forced to leave 1st from expensive locations; then ADs/Ds hired to drive strategic programs then MDs. But knee jerks reactions doesnt pay and eventually even the CEO also had to go. In the process whatever effort put in to improve the organization went down the drain and so is the progress...pushing org back by few years
