Cult like values are preached daily over an hour long morning meeting that ends by an in unison clapping session. Don’t drink the Kool - Aid or RH will run you like a monkey and make you work beyond what you are paid for. They hire people far too qualified for their positions and lie to them about potential and growth possibilities. DO NOT WORK HERE if you have an interior design degree. You will find yourself placing orders for overpriced towels and running around the gallery floor on Saturday’s like a chicken with it’s head cut off assisting clients in a furniture purchase. This is not an interior design position, no matter what the “leaders” tell you. You have an expected weekly sales quota of more than you make YEARLY. There is no commission or rewards if you do above and beyond in sales. Leadership does not care if you have families or friends out of work, they always want you in the store when it is busy, scheduling you nights and weekends. You cannot take time off unless someone covers for you, and they’re extremely rude about emergency time off. Save yourself and don’t work here. RH is a Money hungry company that does not care about their “internal client” like they preach. This is a RETAIL STORE and will not be an interior design firm unless RH makes significant fundamental shifts.
