Leaving this company was the best career decision I ever made.

Minpunten

There isn't enough room to list them all. I'll highlight some that come to mind. Their tech stack is weak. The tooling is low budget at best. They expect you to be "on call" all the time. No compensation for the constant emergency after hours calls. They develop in production. I could go on and on.

We’re investing in modern solutions to win new customers, and that investment is necessary. I’m genuinely excited about where we’re headed and confident it will translate into more wins. The people I work with at Raintree are deeply connected to our customers and truly care about their outcomes. That care extends inward as well—Raintree values employee happiness, even while maintaining a high bar. This is a demanding company that expects excellence, and that expectation is increasingly reflected in the caliber of talent we’re bringing in.

Minpunten

The political dynamics with Engineering are draining. Not every decision needs to become a struggle for control, and when it does, it undermines maturity and forward progress.
