It was classed as flexitime hours, so it was handy with balancing it with college and allowed me freedom with working hours.
Minpunten
Minimum wage for age, meaning you can work a full day, which is 12:00pm until 22:00pm maybe even later and unpaid breaks. The management do not care about their staff at all and are dismissive or the head manager is, they also definitely have favourite employees, they do not hide it. Chefs get angry at servers if they don't know exactly when something is ready, they jus leave it lying on the side. They manage two restaurants, fairly poorly and the quality of food is often under scrutiny by customers. The safety of staff is not valued nor are their belongings. Pretty unhygienic, they use the same tongs for meat as they do for vegetables, they don't have a machine dishwasher that would aid in killing bacteria, they leave mixed meats in all the kitchen sinks; drink alcohol on the job but is a server did that, when the shift was over, they would be fined. There aren't any benefits, all tips go to management, you only get 10% off takeaway orders when the food itself is quite expensive and you are served the same meals everyday when on breaks. They also lie about halal certification.
