absolutely none. Never work here.

Minpunten

To make a long story short they literally just said it was a restructuring and they didn’t have a need to have social media in house anymore so they eliminated my position with no notice or indiciation that I was in danger whatsoever. They didn't offer me a severance, the benefits are SH!T, you get 6 days of PTO a year and have to ACCRUE sick days and you only get 5 (one every 3 months). The leadership is toxic and so unaligned with what they want. They are so beyond cheap and did not give the budget to pay influencers or put on events. I was wearing 4 hats in my role- social media, influencer marketing, PR, and event coordination, and they only promoted me an additional 5K. I am so surprised this company hasn't been sued for the way they treat their employees. It's the most toxic culture, horrible leadership, fully onsite with no opportunity to work remote and no work-life balance. CEO would text me at night and on the weekends. There are no personal boundaries. I feel like I was conned into thinking this would be a good job despite reading Glassdoor reviews. Bottom line- ALWAYS TRUST GLASSDOOR. I could say plenty more bad things but I will spare you. Just do not work here EVER. Turnover is so so so high.

- The people that work here are talented and passionate about their work - The support from team members is like none I have seen in the industry. - A truly wonderful group of people - The company is working to become more structured everyday. - The senior management is very willing to get each team what they need to improve the day to day operations. - Older self centered management is gone, there is a new team in place that offers approachability, encouragement and room for growth. - The company is very financially stable and growing when many companies in the industry are struggling.

- As with any company, there is room for better communication and system upgrades but they are moving in the right direction.

The coworkers are the only real positive. The team is made up of supportive, hardworking people, and many of us bonded through the daily challenges and stress of working here. Without them, the experience would have been much worse.

Minpunten

The company lacks basic structure and organization. There is no clear hierarchy, no defined processes, and very little direction from leadership. Leadership often feels unfocused, which creates confusion and instability across the organization. There is no proper HR department. The same person responsible for payroll also acts as HR, creating a clear conflict of interest and making it difficult to address concerns in a fair or professional way. The workplace culture can feel uncomfortable at times. Communication from leadership is not always professional, and employees are sometimes addressed in ways that can come across as dismissive or overly informal rather than respectful. Compensation practices are also a concern. End-of-year bonuses, if given at all, tend to be extremely low (often under 1%) and appear inconsistent, with little transparency around how they are determined. There is no flexibility in terms of work arrangements. No hybrid or remote options are offered, and even routine matters like doctor’s appointments require taking half a day off. Policies feel rigid and outdated.
