Reactie van Relativity
8yThank you for taking the time to leave feedback—your opinion matters to us, and we’re always open to considering how we might improve our onboarding process. I’m sorry to hear that your experience with the Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) exam was not what you expected.
To help keep our product best in class, we require all those who build our software or work closely with our customers to be certified in the use of our platform, as most software companies do. Understanding the product is critical, and the RCA study is a proven way to provide that base of product knowledge.
For positions that require RCA certification, our recruiters discuss the exam during the onsite interviews to make candidates aware of this requirement. When we extend an offer to a potential new Relativian, our hiring manager and recruiter reconfirm the RCA requirement and answer any questions the candidate may have about the RCA or any other aspects of the offered role and working at Relativity. The condition of becoming RCA certified is also listed in our employment agreement which all Relativians must sign as a part of accepting an offer to join our company.
Those required to be certified spend their first paid four to six weeks on the job studying for the test. Currently, we offer a social learning format for RCA study that entails two all-day training sessions, a workbook and study packet, practice quizzes and webinars, an RCA-focused Slack channel, and direct assistance from members of our Onboarding, Certification, Training, and Support team, who answer questions and troubleshoot, among offering other resources. New hires study in groups and learn from each other.
Based on the feedback from our employees and the fact that one learning style may not fit all, we’re working to elevate the RCA study process by integrating more guided classroom instruction into our existing social learning format. This step aims to provide a broader active learning environment.
Again, thank you for your feedback and thoughtful suggestions.
