We are told to lie to customers about benefits plus membership. It's optional, but we're told to tell customers that it's mandatory. We are encouraged to hide broken and "in need of repair" items and sell them as "like new". There are sometimes cases of furniture having bedbugs......when you rent mattresses that is bound to happen. We were told to never tell customers about this. And RAC does not have a protocol in place when the bedbugs are found. When customers refuse to pay, the co-workers are blamed for not having the customers set up correctly. RAC doesn't mind taking an air conditioner when it's 100 degrees. RAC will repo a child's bed and never bat an eye.
