Lack of clear leadership, failure to add value to their base, and operational choke points. -There is a physical, social, and operational wall between the office and production that promotes miscommunication. -Adding value to production employees is viewed as a last resort. There are few opportunities for a production employee to create upward mobility within the company. -Changes to production will be made without notifying other departments leading to more miscommunication and heightened tension. -There is no form of employee review. It doesn’t matter if you get a degree, help launch a product, double production, or expand your abilities, do not expect your position to change. -The brewery behind the business seems to become a distraction for the office after 1pm on Fridays. -Entire departments rely on individuals staying with the company. -The bonus structure is inconsistent and, with stagnant pay, you run the risk of making less than the year prior due to the company not hitting goals. -Nepotism still lingers but isn’t as bad as it used to be. -Without any path for growth and a lack of effort to invest in their operators, people in the production areas lose motivation.

-You can learn a lot through many projects -Talented employees can share a lot of hard to learn skills -Flexibility in work schedule for engineers/techs -Unlimited vacations (which can also be a con): flexibility in vacation days if you work more hours during the year

Minpunten

-Continuity of the projects (which is because of the company position in the food chain and customer size) -Billable hours (as you can imagine)
